The explosive growth of today’s mobile devices has taken the enterprise environments by storm, and modern work forces are demanding to be allowed to make use of them in their work. Your mobile employees want access to critical company data wherever they choose to work—and on the Apple devices they love. The enterprise however must ensure that sensitive information won't be lost or leaked and is assured. This training aims at the IT- Security Team, IT-Managers and tech leaders. After attending this training, they will:
- Understand what it takes to properly manage a fleet of iOS devices--iPhones and/or iPads--in a modern enterprise environment
- Dive deeply into the problems encountered with deploying iOS in large numbers
- Learn about the sorts of data typically available under forensic examination on a lost/stolen iPad and security principles that apply to all mobile devices
- Learn how to analyze an iOS app to determine whether it should be allowed into the enterprise or not
- Learn how to create custom tailored configuration profiles on iOS devices
- learn how to deploy them across an entire fleet of devices
- learn about the security controls available for enterprise deployments of iPads use of Apple’s iOS Configuration Utility to build deployment profiles and install them onto student iPads
- Have learned practical considerations for enabling iPad use in real world deployments
